Fishing has become an extremely diverse sport. Most fishermen adopt a preferred favorite species or type of angling. Each type has become so specialised that it is difficult for a rod builder to select a specific rod for each specialised area, as one can only relate to their own knowledge.

To overcome this problem Trophy Rods has engaged the services of anglers who are renowned in their specific area and build specialised rods that suit this purpose. E.g. Bream rods are designed by Ben Godfrey, 2008 Australian Open winner, 2007 ABT Champion, tarpon rod is designed by the current Australia ANSA record holder etc. The rod that you purchase is field tested, designed and used by the designers when fishing competitions.

Your rod is personalised in both design and colours. Should you choose, it will be embossed with your name or perhaps a logo. A recent Victorian customer who fishes freshwater called his rod 'the Codfather'. Personalising your rod hopefully will deter villains from stealing it.

TR specialises in soft plastic, lure or bait rods for Bream, Flathead, Trevally, Mangrove Jack, Jew, Snapper, Barra and Murray Cod. As time permits the range will increase to include other species!
